“I was always fit and active, so when my back gave way and I developed incredibly painful sciatica last year I didn’t know where to turn. I was fortunate to seek treatment from Dr Spyros Spyrides. It was the best thing I could have done. Dr Spyros totally helped me to understand the weak points in my back – that I had pelvis misalignment and this (not helped by me overtraining in extreme circuits) caused pressure on my lower spine which translated into disc herniation and sciatica. At first this sounded so shocking to me as I has previously been fit and strong but now I am no longer worried because, as a result of Dr Spyros’s positive and holistic approach to treatment, he has taken away any need to go for surgery on my L5/S1 disc. He has helped me to heal naturally, which is so much the correct decision because surgery, as well as being invasive, would have had long term damaging effects on my body. Thanks to Spyros my flexibility is better than it ever was and I’m stronger each day.
Chiropractic treatment is not just the “bone cracking” manipulation we sometimes think of it as. Spyros brings in the whole body approach of good posture, exercise, core strength and healthy diet.

(My only complaint is that he has moved away from Brighton to Santa Cruz de Tenerife! – so I would say that Tenerifians are very lucky indeed!)”
